Fijian Language Studies at the University of the South Pacific

The Fijian Language Studies Programme is offered at the University of the South Pacific’s (USP’s) School of Pacific Arts, Communication and Education (SPACE), Laucala Campus. In 2009, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between USP and TTFB to support this initiative.  TTFB has since been funding the Bachelor of Arts in Pacific Vernacular – Fijian, and the Diploma in Pacific Vernacular – Fijian, for the last 11 years under this arrangement. In 2021, the continuous financial support from TTFB has enabled USP to develop a Postgraduate Diploma programme.
