Last week, the iTaukei Trust Fund Board (TTFB) partnered with the Soqosoqo Vakamarama Kadavu (SSVK) to host a two-day Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Training Programme at the GCC Talanoa Lounge in Suva.

Every year, the ITaukei Trust Fund Board – TTFB in collaboration with the Ministry of itaukei Affairs celebrates International Mother Language Day . To commemorate this year’s celebration , our Project Coordinator Rotuma Alfred Wiliame took the staff through a session of learning to speak the Rotuman language.
Scholarships available for Fijian Language Studies
TTFB also provides scholarships to practicing teachers via a collaboration with the Ministry of Education and also to career language and culture professionals or staff of the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs to pursue either Diploma, Bachelor and now Postgraduate Diploma in the Fijian Language Studies.
